What:
When you create an account you are required to provide a username, email and password. Your username does not have to be related to your real name. The email you choose does not have to be related to you. You should however have recurring access to it in case you want to make use of certain features related to your account.
Why:
Your email will be used to provide you with login functionality, password recovery and transactional information regarding your account.
How long:
Your account will be active until you cancel it, at which point the information listed above will be erased.
We currently have no plans to remove inactive accounts unless they are in breach of our Terms of Use, in which case the information listed above will be erased.
2.1.2 Purchase products or services from us
What:
If you choose to make any purchases with us you may be required to provide information depending on the choice of payment which may include your full name, address, payment information, phone number and other information.
Why:
In order to fulfill our obligation to you regarding purchases and services we must collect certain information based on legal requirements and requirements from third party vendors such as payment and service providers.
How long:
For information that we are required to store due to accounting requirements the storage period is, depending on when during the year the purchase was made, up to 11 years.
Other information will be stored until we have fulfilled our obligation to you or until you choose to change or delete that information.
2.1.3 Contact us or provide feedback
What:
If you choose to contact us or provide feedback through surveys, forms or other means we may collect information such as your email, phone number, name and any other information you provide.
Why:
Information we collect in these circumstances are only used to process and respond to any inquiry you make. For example if you have a question that you would need an answer to, we may need contact information so we can respond.
How long:
Information we have collected in these circumstances will be deleted as soon as the inquiry is completed.
2.1.4 Upload content such as text, images or videos
What:
You may choose to upload a profile photo if you create an account with us. This will be visible to everyone using our platform. It does not have to resemble you or have any relation to you.
Content such as text, images or videos that you upload may be published publicly or remain in your account only for you and the platform provider personnel to see, depending on the actions you perform.
Why:
Please be careful to not provide any personal information through the upload of content as outlined in our Terms of Use.
How long:
If you have uploaded a profile picture it will be erased when you choose to or when you cancel your account.
Published content will remain published and for the public to see even after you have removed your account per our Terms of Use.
2.1.5 Perform certain actions
What:
You may use features on our platform that require additional information such as dietary preferences, geographic information and social media handles to be collected by us.
Why:
This type of information is technically necessary in order for the corresponding features to work. The provided information will also be used by us to learn about how features are being used and to improve and develop them.
How long:
You may at any time choose to change or delete this information through your account settings. When an account is canceled this information is erased.
2.1.6 Sign up for subscriptions
What:
If you would like to subscribe to information and marketing material such as a newsletter we may require you to provide an email and areas of interest.
Why:
This information is helpful in order to minimize unnecessary information sent to you.
How long:
You may at any time choose to change or delete this information through your account settings or the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email.
2.1.7 Apply for a job with us
What:
If you choose to apply for a job with us we will require you to provide information such as your full name, contact details, information about previous employments, a resume, information about references and other information.
Why:
In order to help us find great colleagues to join our team we need to find out if we would make a great match.
How long:
The information you provide will be used during the recruitment process and stored for up to one year after the process is concluded.
2.2.2.1 Cookies
What:
We only store technically necessary cookies like session and settings cookies on your device.
Why:
Out of technical necessity we need to store information on your device to enable features such as login, navigation and content moderation.
How long:
The storage period is dependent on your choice of browser. You may choose to delete all information we store on your device at any time through your browser settings. Please note that by blocking any or all cookies, you may not have access to certain features or offerings on or through our platform.
2.2.2.2 Server logs
What:
We store your public IP, access times, device information, performance and error information in server logs across different locations throughout our infrastructure.
Why:
In order to keep our systems running as efficient as possible we use server logs and monitoring technology.
How long:
The server logs used for security and performance purposes are kept for 3 months. All other logs are deleted after 4 weeks.
2.2.2.3 Payment information
What:
We store your public IP-address and access times, your billing address and in some cases your phone number, the country where the card used for card payment was issued or the banks' address when you order from us.
Why:
In order to fulfill our obligations regarding e.g. handling taxes such as VAT we must be able to prove with at least two identifying pieces of information in which country you are staying.
How long:
European Union legal requirements state that this information must be stored for a period of 10 years starting the year after the transaction happened which means that we may have to store this information for up to 11 years.

Our platform is intended for users over the age of 18 and is not directed at children under the age of 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from children under the age of 16, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as practicable.
